Veritas Textual

Preface

Welcome to my blog. Here, I’ll be diving into a deep literary analysis of various texts, sharing my thoughts and insights along the way. While the title of my blog, Veritas, meaning “truth” in Latin, may suggest an exploration of absolute truths, what I’m really presenting are my own perceived truths. I encourage you, the reader, to engage with these ideas and share your own thoughts through feedback and discussion.

The posts you’ll find here will generally reflect my thought process as I read through texts, starting with the Bible. While I won’t be including the full text in each post, I highly recommend reading along for full context. For these posts, I’ll be using the NIV translation, which is readily available online for free.

In a time when the world feels uncertain and divided, I believe it’s more important than ever to have a well-grounded set of beliefs and to be well-read. Please note that these posts are personal reflections and my opinions, not definitive statements of fact. There are many debatable arguments that likely can be brought up in my posts, I admit that I am not an expert in these texts, nor do I claim my perspectives are correct.

I’d also like to take a moment to thank the many members of my family and community (names will remain private to respect their privacy) for their unending encouragement and support during difficult times.

Finally, since my analysis will often stem from biblical texts, I encourage you to approach each post with an open mind, free from bias, to foster a deeper and more meaningful discussion.
